Our Team


Orange Dermatology Associates, P.C. has offices in both Monroe and Warwick. Our staff is very happy to be able to serve the communities of Orange County, Sussex County and all the the Hudson Valley. Our team of Board Certified Dermatologists and Physician’s Assistants are happy to serve you!

Dr. Joseph G.Tuchman earned his medical degree at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine in New York in 1967. He completed his medical internship at Brookdale Hospital Center in New York and his residency in dermatology at the Tufts New England Medical Center in Boston, Massachusetts in 1971. He was a major in the U.S. Army and Chief of Dermatology at Walson Army Hospital in New Jersey from 1971-1973 before opening the practice in Monroe, New York. He has served as a Clinical Instructor of Dermatology at Montefiore Hospital and Medical Center in New York and is Board Certified in Dermatology.

Dr. Steven Wolinsky also earned his medical degree at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine in New York in 1979. He completed his internship in general surgery at Montefiore Hospital and Medical Center in 1980 and his residency in dermatology at Columbia Presbyterian Medical Center in 1983, both in New York. After completing his training, Dr. Wolinsky served on the Clinical Dermatology Faculty at Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons and in the Dermatology Department of Presbyterian Hospital in New York. Dr. Wolinsky is Board Certified in Dermatology, and he joined the practice in 1984. In his spare time, Dr. Wolinsky is a triathlete who hikes and runs marathons.

Dr. Sammy Hutman joined the practice in 1996. A graduate of SUNY-Downstate Medical Center of Brooklyn, he first trained in internal medicine for 3 years before doing his dermatology residency at Cook County Hospital in Chicago. Dr. Hutman was in private practice in Montreal, Canada for over 20 years, before moving to the United States. While in Canada, he was an Assistant Clinical Professor of Dermatology at McGill Medical School and acting Chief of Dermatology for at the Jewish General Hospital, a primary teaching hospital of McGill. Dr. Hutman is Board Certified in Dermatology.

Dawn Barilli, RPA-C, a certified Physician Assistant, joined the practice in 2000. She graduated with high honors from the Physician Assistant program at SUNY at Stonybrook in 1998, and has worked full-time as a Physician Assistant specialized in dermatology since then. Before beginning her education as a Physician Assistant, Ms. Barilli received a bachelor’s degree in Nursing from Russell Sage College in Troy, New York and had worked as a registered nurse for 10 years in Vassar Brothers Hospital in Poughkeepsie.

Avraham (Avi) Sokoloff, RPA-C, a certified Physician Assistant joined the practice in January, 2004. He graduated as valedictorian of his class from the Touro College School of Health Sciences Physician Assistant Program in 2001. Shortly thereafter, he joined the practice of a Board Certified Dermatologist in New York City, and has worked as a Physician Assistant specializing in dermatology since then.

Amy L. Wolff, RPA-C is also a certified Physician Assistant, earning her degree at Gannon University in Erie, Pennsylvania in 1999. Ms. Wolff was trained in dermatology and began full-time employment in dermatology in March of 2000 in Rhode Island. In December of 2001, she relocated and shortly thereafter joined the practice.

The Physician Assistants practice under the supervision of the physicians who are always available for consultation. A patient who is willing to see our Physician Assistants will generally be able to schedule an appointment more promptly than a patient who is waiting to see a physician. We expect that you will find our Physician Assistants to be skilled, knowledgeable and compassionate. Anyone seen by the Physician Assistant who is dissatisfied in any way, may request the physician’s opinion at the same visit at no additional charge.
